The avediaServer, only from Exterity, is the complete solution for organisations wanting more from their IPTV offering.

The avediaServer is available in three separate, but complimentary, unit configurations. One configuration enables VoD and Scheduled play. The second allows EPG control and the ability to customise the user interface. The third, and most recent addition to the avediaServer product family, is the Record Module. It enables continuous looped recording for up to 30 channels simultaneously (in total up to 1333 hours of recording), with the ability to download the stored content for later playback.

 

These three separate configurations work seamlessly together providing a powerful record and content storage solution. The avediaServer modules are available with a variety or disc sizes and are shipped to meet the exact needs of an organisation.

Using a personalised interface (provided by the Customised Interface Module) can assist organisations reach solutions to many communication and resource management problems. Deliver corporate branding and messages to all staff and visitors across an entire building and deploy the interface consistent with other platforms. This should facilitate faster adoption of the new technology. The Customised Interface Module can also be linked into a hospitality PMS, providing personalised messages via the IPTV network.

For users requiring a basic IPTV content server, Exterity have also created avediaServer Lite. This fully integrated unit delivers smaller scale VoD, Scheduled play and the Customised Interface Module functionality required to provide basic on demand IPTV content to an organisation.
